Accommodation packages are available for both UK and international teams attending the Tigers International Acro Cup 2027.
All accommodation is arranged through the organising committee and is located on-site at the University of Essex, within walking distance of the competition venue.
On-Site Accommodation - University of Essex
Single-occupancy student rooms are provided within the University of Essex campus, located within 5 min walking distance of the competition venue.
Accommodation is based in student-style en-suite rooms, arranged within shared flats or corridor-style blocks.
Unlike hotel accommodation, rooms are single occupancy and cannot be shared.
Rooms are grouped together within the same flat or corridor, and each club is allocated within the same area wherever possible. This allows athletes and staff to remain together while maintaining clear structure and supervision.
This layout provides:
• Close proximity between athletes and coaches
• Clear grouping by club
• A controlled and contained environment
• Simplified supervision for safeguarding purposes
While different from traditional hotel room sharing, this setup is commonly used in university accommodation and provides a safe, practical and well-organised environment for younger athletes.
This is the most convenient and cost-effective option, with no daily transport required.
