Travel information for UK and international teams attending the Tigers International Acro Cup 2027.
Airport transfers are available for international teams, with additional transport available for UK teams on request.
Travel to TIAC 2027
Tigers International Acro Cup 2027 takes place at the Essex Sport Arena, University of Essex, Wivenhoe Park, Colchester.
Travelling by Car
For SatNav, we recommend using: CO4 3FA
This will take you to the south side of the University of Essex campus, close to the Essex Sport Arena and multi-storey car park.
From the A12, take the exit for Colchester (A133) and follow the A133 towards Clacton-on-Sea.
Continue towards the University and take the B1028 towards Wivenhoe.
Turn right onto Boundary Road at the University entrance, then take the second right. You will see the multi-storey car park and Essex Sport Arena.
Parking
The multi-storey car park is located beside the Essex Sport Arena and provides convenient visitor parking for the venue.
Car Park B is also adjacent to the Sports Centre and Sport Arena and is recommended by the University for access to these facilities.

International Team Transfers
International teams booking the official TIAC accommodation package can take advantage of organised airport transfers to and from the University of Essex.
London Stansted Airport
Airport transfers from London Stansted are included within the International Team accommodation package.

The cost for transfers from these airports is £60 per person, each way.
No other airports are covered.
Important Travel Dates
Arrival — Thursday 3 June 2027
International teams should arrange flights to arrive on Thursday 3 June 2027.
Departure — Monday 6th or Tuesday 7 June 2027
International teams should arrange return flights for Monday 7 June 2027.
Teams staying for an additional day may depart on Tuesday 8 June 2027.
Airport transport operates on the designated arrival and departure dates only.
There is no free airport transport available on Wednesday 2 June or on Sunday 6 June evening.

Travelling from within the UK?
Transport is not included within the UK Team accommodation package.
If your club requires transport to or from the University of Essex, please contact the organising committee and we will provide a separate quotation based on your requirements.

Accommodation packages are available for both UK and international teams at the University of Essex, within walking distance of the competition venue.
